The GL-FTB-16H serves as the transition point between an incoming feeder cable and multiple drop-side connections. Its flip-up distribution panel separates the upper splicing and cross-connection area from lower splitter and excess-fiber storage, while cable clamps and dedicated routing paths organize the feeder, pigtails and patch cords.

Network function

Use the enclosure to secure an incoming feeder cable, protect fiber joints, route pigtails, store fiber slack and distribute optical paths toward subscriber drops. A micro PLC splitter may be integrated when the ODN design calls for a passive 1×16 branch at this node.

16-Port Distribution Platform

The GL-FTB-16H fits passive access nodes where feeder termination, controlled routing and optional 1×16 splitting must share one wall- or pole-mounted enclosure.

FTTH Last-Mile Distribution

A generic splice box may protect joints but leave splitter mounting, drop distribution and fiber storage in separate enclosures. GL-FTB-16H combines these functions in a 16-port IP65 housing with a flip-up panel and micro PLC position. Install it between the feeder cable and subscriber drop section at an FTTH neighborhood or building access node. The 12–15 mm feeder enters the cable-fixing area, while the selected pigtails or patch cords serve the drop side. Before ordering, confirm adapter type, connector polish, splice plan, 1×16 splitter data, drop-cable interfaces and the complete port map.

Pole-Mounted Outdoor FTTH Nodes

Mount it on an exterior wall or indoor service area at the feeder-to-building-drop transition for an apartment, office or mixed-use property.
