Field Installation Guide
One of the strongest selling points of this connector is that it can be installed without any specialized tools beyond a fiber cleaver and a cable stripper. Finger-test the bare fiber in four directions to check for damage. If damaged, return to Step 6 and re-do the stripping. |

Cut the fiber using the fiber length guide and optical fiber cleaver. Target dimensions: 250μm fiber section = 20mm; bare fiber section = 10mm; total = 25 ± 1mm. |

Insert the optical fiber to the limit position. Keep the fiber slightly bent (but not past the connector plane) and lock the lock. |

Note for FAST MINI and OPT variants:
For both FAST MINI and OPT connector types, the final connection step requires inserting the adapter first (Step 1 of the two-step sub-procedure), then tightening the locking button upward (Step 2). This sequence is important - reversing the order can prevent a proper seal.
