About This Product
This is a pre-terminated fiber cable for outdoor use. It has a flat 4.5mm x 9.8mm drop cable that is both strong and flexible. It uses standard SC/APC connectors for low signal loss.
One end has a tough, sealed OptiTap-style connector (IP68 rated) for outdoor ports. The other end usually has a normal SC/APC connector for indoor equipment. This design makes installation quick. Also, a built-in copper wire lets technicians find the buried cable later with a simple tone generator, which makes repairs much easier.
