A GEL Fiber Splice Closure is a protective enclosure for fiber optic cables. It houses and safeguards spliced fiber connections against environmental hazards like moisture, dust, and physical damage. Its key feature is a special moisture-blocking gel encapsulation that seals entry ports, ensuring long-term reliability and signal integrity in outdoor or underground installations.

The GL-8701 GEL Fiber Splice Closure can serve as a termination point in the FTTX network, connecting drop cables to feeder cables. This closure is designed to accommodate up to 8 users and facilitates splicing, splitting, storage, and management within an adequate space.

Installation:

• Wall Mounting: Drill 4 holes on the wall, the diameter of the hole is 6mm and the depth of the hole is at least 30mm. Put plastic expansion sleeves inside the holes.

• Pole Mounting: Pass the hoops through the pole securing holes at the back plate.
