Mechanical Sealing Type Fiber Dome Enclosure

Fiber Dome Enclosures​​ provide a versatile solution for splicing and protecting outdoor fiber connections in a familiar dome form factor.

These units can be deployed to support a variety of topologies, including strand or pole mounting, as well as below-grade vault installations. The closures utilize mechanical compression technology to deliver an economical, easy-to-use cable sealing solution.

Mounting the Fiber Dome Enclosure:

• Pole Mounting
1 The pole mounting kit includes four mounting straps and a pair of offset mounting brackets. 1. Use two straps to secure the mounting brackets to the Fiber Dome Enclosure.
2. Use the remaining two straps to secure the Fiber Dome Enclosure to the pole.

If mounting to a wooden pole, the mounting brackets can also be mounted to the pole using bolts. Then use straps to secure the fiber enclosure to the mounting brackets.

• Aerial Strand Mounting

The aerial strand mounting kit is compatible with a 1/4" to 3/8" aerial strand.

1. Attach the D-cable lashing clamp to the fiber enclosure brackets

2. Attach the brackets around the dome by tightening the straps

3. Attach the D-clamps to the aerial strand.
