The performance of the optical splitter must comply with international standards (such as ITU-T G.657) and domestic specifications (such as YD/T 1955), with particular attention to the following indicators:
Splitting ratio uniformity: The power difference between each output port should be less than 0.5dB to ensure fair signal distribution.
Operating wavelength range: It must cover common optical communication bands (such as 1310nm and 1550nm) and support multiplexing technologies such as CWDM/DWDM.
Environmental adaptability: It must possess characteristics such as vibration resistance, moisture resistance, and high-temperature resistance to adapt to outdoor or industrial environments.
The standardization of optical splitters involves multiple dimensions, including materials, manufacturing processes, and testing. Currently, my country has established a complete standards system, including national standards, industry standards, and group standards, covering the entire lifecycle from research and development to testing and certification. Standardization work has not only standardized product performance indicators but also promoted technological progress and industrial upgrading in the industry.
