Fibre Optical Network Terminal - Multiport Service Terminal (MST) Box
The Multiport Service Terminal (MST) Box Fast-Connect Closure is used for access points of the FTTx-ODN Fibre Optical Network Terminal. It is a product with all inlet and outlet cables preconnected, eliminating the need for opening the closure or fiber splicing. and All ports are equipped with hardened adapters. The operators do not need to splice fibers or open boxes during deployment, which improves service provisioning efficiency.
The MST Fiber Optical Network Terminal is a new, cost-effective fiber distribution solution for outdoor usage. Compared to traditional products, the MST box is easy to operate and highly compatible. Reduces the total cost of operation (TCO) by 15–30%. It can be used for wall-mounting, aerial installation or pole installation, depending on the situation. The MST box is not only used in FTTH applications, but also in FTTA applications and other harsh environments.
