The Joint Closure dome GL-8207-B is mainly used for optical fiber connection and protection. This kind of box is suitable for the connection of overhead, pipe and buried straight and branch. The box body and base are sealed with hoops and rubber. The closure casing is made of quality engineering plastics, and of good performance of anti-erosion against acid and alkali salt, anti-aging, as well as smooth appearance and reliable mechanical structure. The mechanical structure is reliable and has the performance of resisting wild environment and intensive climate changes and serious working environment. The splice trays (FOST) inside the Joint Closure dome are turn-able like booklets, and have adequate curvature radius and space for winding optical fiber to make sure the curvature radius for optical winding 40 mm. Each optical cable and fiber can be operated individually.

CABLE CONNECTION in the Joint Closure dome

Step 1 Strip the cable sheath from distribution cable; remove the sheath at least 1.15m.
Strip the loose tube, reserve about 40mm length. Cut and reserve the strength member about 50mm.

Step 2 Use screwdriver to pry open 4 buckles, open the cover.
Step 3 Use Allen key to screw off the screws at the mid-span distribution port. Take out the pressing block and double holes seal ring. Cut open the either sides of the seal ring. Pass the mid-span distribution cable into the mid-span cable port. Install the sealing assembly in order on the distribution cable.
Step 4 Secure the strength member and distribution cable.

Joint Closure dome INSTALLATION

Wall-mounted: Drill 3 holes on the wall, the dimension is shown below. Hammer the expansion sleeves separately into the holes. Secure the box on the wall with 3 screws.
